General Session III

At the end of every textbook XanGo Convention, nobody wants to say goodbye. This was never more apparent than at the final session of Overdrive '08. The presenters and the audience took their time, savoring each word and each cheer-every one a little louder and a little longer than the one before.

General Session III was the time to pay honor and homage to XanGo's 500Ks: Emcee Dave Webb brought them all up to share the visions they have for the future. The images ranged from multiple category ownership, generations of families in XanGo, multibillion-dollar company status and a world full of orange.

In the next flurry of activity, XanGo sent their winner on a shopping spree; Aaron Garrity introduced XanGo's new CEO, Robert Conlee; Diego Dreyfus and Regina de Merino added their astounding story to the amazing annals of XanGo Mexico; the Armando De Guzmans-Junior and Senior-put their personal stamp on posterity and prosperity; and 9-time Olympic Gold Medalist Carl Lewis pushed everyone to dive across the finish line.

It was next that the theme of the entire Convention found its brightest flame. Vince Poscente put into words and people's hearts what no one else could. Everything that had been felt since Thursday-the passion and the propensity that everyone experienced at the parties and meetings, along with the emotion that permeated the entire atmosphere-Vince packed it into his speed-focused remarks.

And with that, XanGo turned the keys over to its determined distributors for another great year. A year of Overdrive in which a few happy distributors will be handling brand new, XanGo-branded hot rods.
